Full Job Description
Job Summary.
Our
Client, a Transportation Company is looking for a qualified Driver
Trainer and HSE Manager who will be responsible for developing and
implementing organizational safety programs and training of the
drivers. He/she will review and update institutional HSE policies and
conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan
precautionary measures and ensuring good performance from the drivers.
Responsibilities.
- Overall Training for Drivers
- Conduct
driver performance evaluations and identify gaps for further
training
- Manage driver driving behavior
- Practical evaluations of driver applicants
- Driver scorecards in place & scored
- Assist
Operations in accident investigations (identify and train drivers on
findings)
- Ensure Tyre CPK in line with Operational
benchmarks (identify and train drivers on findings)
- Ensure Fuel consumption in line with Operational benchmarks
(identify and train drivers on findings)
- Ensure Break
usages in line with Operational benchmark (Identify and train drivers
on findings)
- Ensure all Drivers Driving License and
other documentation are valid & in place
- Ensure
compliance with Operational Protocols. Report non-conformances
- Maintain records of training completed
- Providing input for the development, revision and evaluations
of training material
- Provide HSE Training to Drivers
and all Yard employees
- Oversee overall HSE Matters
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a health,
safety, or environmental or any related fields.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and safety.
- Experience in managing and training of the Drivers.
- In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA) and procedures
- Good analytical skills and the ability to think
critically
- Good public speaking skills
- Leadership skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft

- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
- Good organization skills
