As we strive to ascend to the position of Africa's premier payments brand, we are actively seeking a seasoned Online Acquiring Key Account Manager .

 

In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with the task of establishing and nurturing trust-based relationships with financial institutions. Your primary focus will be on cultivating long-term profitable partnerships while providing support to the broader project team. We are looking for a strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and robust problem-solving skills to contribute to our ambitious growth trajectory.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of customer and merchant demands related to payment and financial services, articulate use cases, and formulate comprehensive plans to address them.

• Stay vigilant to industry trends and competitor offerings, proactively providing solutions to enhance our services.

• Cultivate strong relationships with telecommunications companies, payment service providers, banks, switches, fintech entities, regulators, and other high-level stakeholders to secure optimal payment and financial services.

• Drive negotiations to secure deals that reduce costs and augment revenue for the company.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including products, integration, operations, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance, to comprehend project requirements thoroughly and deliver effective solutions.

• Devise and execute strategies to nurture and sustain PalmPay's vibrant organizational culture.

 

 

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in banks, payment service providers, or fintech organizations, particularly in roles above mid-level   Online Acquiring Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Partnership Manager.

• Proven experience in developing and managing partnerships with local and/or international key account companies.

• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset in decision-making and resource management.

• Exhibit a positive attitude with exceptional interpersonal, business negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Be highly result-oriented, realistic, and reliable, capable of working within aggressive timelines and handling multiple tasks concurrently.

• Possess professional-level English skills; proficiency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
