Renewable Energy Engineer

Full Job Description

• Renewable Energy System Design: Design and size renewable energy systems that match clients' requirements and the local environment.
  
• Electrical and Switchgear Design: Lead electrical system design and sizing, ensuring compatibility and safety. Design switchgear configurations and distribution panel layouts.
  
• CAD Expertise: Use AutoCAD to create single-line diagrams, as-built drawings, and other necessary design documentation.
  
• Installation & Supervision: Spend approximately 50% of -me on-site, managing and supervising installation teams. Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld during all installation processes.
  
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and rectify any issues with installed systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  
• Heat Pump and solar Water Heater Design: Design systems that optimize energy consumption and deliver consistent performance.
  
• Team Leadership : Independently manage and lead teams, driving them towards project milestones. Conduct training and skill development sessions for junior staff and field teams.
  
• Documentation: Ensure all designs, changes, and troubleshooting steps are properly documented for future reference and compliance.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in renewable energy system design.
  
• Expertise in AutoCAD.
  
• Extensive field installation experience in renewable energy systems.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchgear design, and distribution panels.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex renewable energy systems.
  
• Excellent team leadership and management skills.
