Role Description

As a Sales Analyst at PalmPay, you will play a vital role in supporting our growth and expansion efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to harness data and insights to enhance our products and services. The Sales Analyst plays a pivotal role in the organization by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Data Analysis:

   - Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

   - Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the sales team and management.

2. Forecasting and Planning:

   - Assist in sales forecasting activities based on historical data and market trends.

   - Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales plans.

3. Performance Metrics Tracking:

   - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.

   - Provide insights into sales performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

4. Market Research:

   - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

   - Summarize findings and present relevant information to the sales team.

5. Collaboration:

   - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and cohesion in business processes.

   - Collaborate with senior analysts and management to contribute to strategic decision-making.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

   - Develop and maintain documentation related to sales processes, analyses, and findings.

   - Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports for presentations.

7. Data-Driven Insights:

   - Leverage data analysis to provide critical insights and recommendations to support the development of our Merchant Acquiring product.

8. Data Visualization:

   - Create and maintain data visualization tools to simplify complex data and make it accessible for decision-makers.

9. Market Analysis:

   - Conduct an in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and business performance to identify areas for product improvement.

10. Data Quality Assurance:

   - Establish and uphold data quality metrics and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

Requirements

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Business Intelligence, Sales Data Analysis, or related fields is expected.

- SQL Proficiency: SQL skills and server skills, including SQL object development, performance tuning, data analysis, and integration, are essential.

- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity in various technologies, including Excel, Python, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power BI, and MEAN Stack, is highly advantageous.

- BI Analytic Tools: Familiarity with Business Intelligence analytic tools is preferred.

- Coding Skills: The ability to read and support code, applications, reports, and processes is important.

- Team Collaboration: The ability to contribute effectively as both an individual and as part of a team is essential.

- Communication Skills: Strong listening, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are important.
