Job Summary:
Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced Travel
Consultant with a track record of more than five years in the field.
He/She will bring a wealth of expertise to contribute to the
successful planning and execution of travel itineraries, ensuring
unparalleled service and satisfaction for our clientele .
Responsibilities:
- Client
interaction.
- Destination Knowledge (Basic knowledge
of Zanzibar, Dubai, Northern Circuit, South Africa, Turkey and other
common selling destinations).
- Itinerary Planning: Use
our tools and your knowledge to make the best-suited itineraries to
our client's preferences.
- Booking and Reservation:
using our in-house software, and many other platforms we are
subscribed to.
- Customer Service: providing
round-the-clock customer care for our corporate and retail
customers.
- Documentation and Coordination:
administration of customer costing, invoicing, and follow-up.
- Achieving Sales Targets.
- Market
Research.
- Problem Resolution.
- Feedback
and Improvement.
- Multitasking and Organization.
- Adherence to Policies and Regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the Galileo and Amadeus GDS booking systems and
codes.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
(office 365 & Outlook).
- IATA certification.
- Familiar with IATA rules and regulations.
- 5 years of
travel consulting experience.
- Prior experience in a
customer service-oriented role.
- Fluent in spoken
Kiswahili and English.
- Excellent time management
skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to
problem-solve.
- Excellent communication and judgment
skills.
- Knowledge of world geography and airports.
