**About the role:**
Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) is a fully integrated beverage business in Diageo Africa (supply and demand for beer and spirits).
SBL flagship brand is Serengeti Premium Lager. Other brands in the portfolio include Guinness and Pilsner. SBL is also the distributor of several global Diageo international renowned spirits brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Gordon's, Bailey's and Captain Morgan.
Asset care management
Managing shift operation - breakdown control and preventive maintenance
**Role Responsibilities:**
**Ensure Safety & Compliance**
+ Adhere to Diageo health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards at all times. Maintain a safe, organized workplace using 5S and MMS practices.
? **Execute Planned & Condition-Based Maintenance**
+ Deliver all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Condition-Based Maintenance tasks to standard and on time, supporting optimal machine reliability.
? **Provide Technical Support & Asset Care**
+ Act as the primary mechanical/electrical support for operations. Use SAP for maintenance reporting and participate in weekly asset care reviews.
? **Coach Operators & Build Capability**
+ Train operators on autonomous maintenance, machine setups, and root cause problem solving (RCPS), including use of 5 Why's and participation in improvement projects.
? **Drive Continuous Improvement & System Adoption**
+ Contribute to line improvements and support new systems (e.g., Strata, Harford, Orbis). Apply MMS tools and techniques to drive performance.
**Experience / skills required:**
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in operations, maintenance, process control, and performance measurement within a brewery, beverage, or food manufacturing environment.

The Power and Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of power systems and equipment that support the organization's immigration systems. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.Responsibilities Power System Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair power systems, including generators, UPS systems, and electrical panels, to ensure a consistent power supply for critical immigration systems. Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical equipment, minimizing disruptions to operations. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations, particularly when working with high-voltage equipment. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and facilities teams to address power-related issues affecting immigration systems. Familiarity with electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and control systems.Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Reporting to the Airport IT Supervisor, the IT Support Technician is responsible for optimizing the use of IT equipment and providing on-site assistance to the end user, ensuring the maximum availability of the systems.Responsibilities Ensure and manage the continuity of service of the computer network. Ensure the condition of the equipment by regular visits and taking corrective and preventive measures. Ensure data is backed up and Antivirus Definitions and security policies are being implemented. Maintain the computer and devices used for the enrollment and analysis of passengers. Ensure software installation follows current licensing rules and policies of the company. Escalate and report appropriately to the IT Airport Supervisor and use the Issue Tracking system to the next level of support if a problem can’t be handled. Replace hardware components in computers as needed. Be able to identify and resolve basic network issues as they arise. Other responsibilities as assigned.RequirementsKnowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili (writing and speaking).Two years’ experience using and troubleshooting problems in Windows 10, Windows Server, and Linux.
