Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) is a fully integrated beverage business in Diageo Africa (supply and demand for beer and spirits).
SBL flagship brand is Serengeti Premium Lager. Other brands in the portfolio include Serengeti Lite, Guinness, Pilsner and SIB. Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, SBL is also the distributor of several global Diageo international world-class spirits brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Gordon's, Bailey's and Captain Morgan.
**Scope of the role**
Primary accountability is to deliver business year NSV and Volume outlined by Line Manager. (NSV 2.5-3 BLN TZS).
They will manage a district - distributors, stockists and execution in outlets
**Purpose of Role**
The Sales Executive will manage an assigned geographical area which may include towns/villages and several distributor territories in terms of achieving the primary and secondary sales targets/ distribution and other Key Performance Indicators. Lead and empower Area Distributors, VSM's and their staff in their assigned area to achieve the planned volume, market share, NSV and NR targets
**Leadership Responsibilities and Decision Making Rights**
Work with the commercial teams to ensure their dedication and engagement in the plans, in order to deliver flawless execution. Close working relationship with SBL marketing, supply and finance.
**Top 3-5 Accountabilities**
**Mentor & Accompaniment of VSM's** - SE are responsible for mentoring as part of Diageo's toolkit.
**Area Distributor Primary and Secondary Sales Performance Management** SE is responsible for Secondary sales management through stockiest and retail. They will be working with Distributor manager to drive primary sales plan that was agreed with Distributor. Responsible for management and execution in Top 10-15 outlets including stockiest. They order and passes them to VSM or distributor and ensures delivery. Adhere to own journey plan of stockiest, top outlets.
From time to time SE will be representing Distribution Manager to connect with Distributor. On secondary sales, SE have two fronts; presenting with Distributor on secondary sales initiatives, training and driving of VSMs on sales Force effectiveness targets. Secondary sales initiatives includes but not limited to agreeing secondary sales initiatives with Customer Marketing and managing those secondary sales initiatives. Some of the secondary sales initiatives include 3-wheeler project, stockiest incentive etc.
**New Distribution point Appointment** - Identification of potential areas for new distributors and stockiest. This is to facilitate effective and efficient stock movement to achieve primary and secondary sales target for their area. It also includes understanding and owning KYC process for recruitment of new business partners.
**Account Development:** they will be responsible for joint activities that are done between Top outlets and SBL to increase sale and market share. These may include;
+ Outlet execution for certain sales drivers to pull consumer towards certain brands/category i.e., Outlet visibility, price initiatives, consumer offers/promotions etc.
+ Innovation drive to push for innovation brand
+ Price compliance and availability
+ POS and visibility; cooler execution
+ Listing of new sku's and new brands
+ Drive sales and advise distributor of empties, OOS etc.
+ Collect competitive intelligence
+ Execute nationally coordinated activations in outlet
**Distributor Health and Profitability** - They are responsible for growing their distributor by being a logistic provider to a strategic partner with SBL. Measures shall be distributor operation are improving in quality in terms of ordering, receiving and distribution of stock, efficient in secondary distribution in terms of trucks, routes and staff capability, and automation of distributor operations. He will be working with Distributor Manager to make sure the distributor remain profitable throughout. He will also make sure SBL operates in an efficient way with distributor on making sure our investments with distributor have a healthy return on investment. They will be responsible on highlighting red flags whenever distributor operations and performance are jeopardizing SBL objectives.
**Qualifications and experience required**

+ Must have at least college graduate (Diploma and above) with mathematical and analytical skills, preferably business administration.

Job Purpose :

To assist the HoD in performing the functions pertain to the IT Department to support compliance with relevant statutes governing the company. At the same time, the recruit would be required to assist in the smooth functioning of the department.

Responsibilities Supporting day to day Premia related issues such as fiscalizing invoices, configuring users, access, permission, EDMS, Java ConfigurationProduction of reports (Premium Register, Claims Paid, Claims OS)L3 Support issues to WeNxt and coordination with vendor for resolutionVendor Management and coordination with various activitiesOS InstallationsPatch management and licensingMonitoring servers’ performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory utilization, disk I/O, and network throughput to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.Active Directory management (GPA's (Access Controls, Data Security, Patch Management, Password Management etc), user account managementNetwork troubleshooting, IP Pool Management, Protocols and VPN managementFirewall managementTraining on effective use of IT resources (Internet, Printers and other equipment)Preparing change request, discussion with business and converting business ideas to technical presentation, co-ordination with the vendors for business requirement, delivery timelines tracking, and delivery validationsMonitor and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for performance, reliability, and cost optimization.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across compute, storage, and databases.Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation etc.Manage backups, patching, and system updatesImplement and enforce cloud security best practices and policies (IAM, encryption, network security).Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.Conduct regular vulnerability scans, audits, and remediation tasks.Work with compliance teams on cloud security assessments and regulatory requirements.Design, implement, and troubleshoot virtual networks, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.Manage DNS, load balancers, NAT gateways, and private link/peering configurations.Support secure access configurations including SSO, MFA, and identity federation.Ensure reliable record keeping and available when needed in both fiscal and digital formDesign and implement RESTful microservices using Spring Boot.Develop backend logic using Java and frontend logic using Angular/React as per project standards and best practices.Integrate with MySQL/Oracle databases: design schema, write efficient queries, and optimize performance.Implement and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure high code quality.Troubleshoot and debug production issues as part of the support cycle.Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement processes.Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with software development best practices.RequirementsKnowledge and Experience Strong programming experience in Java (preferably Java 8 or higher).Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (Eureka, Config Server, etc.).Experience designing and developing REST APIs.Strong understanding of microservices architecture and principles.Proficient in MySQL/Oracle: database design, complex queries, indexing, optimization.Experience with tools like JPA/Hibernate, Liquibase/Flyway for DB migrations.Familiar with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.Familiar with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (optional but preferred).Good understanding of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ (preferred).Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
