SBL was incorporated in 1988 as Associated Breweries Limited and changed its name to Serengeti Breweries Limited in 2002 and commenced commercial operations in 1996 with one brewery in Dar es Salaam. The company was acquired by EABL in October 2010 and has three breweries located in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Moshi.
SBL flagship brand is Serengeti Premium Lager. Other brand portfolios include Guinness and Plisner. Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, SBL is also the distributor of several global Diageo international renowned spirit brands such as Johnnie Walker®, Smirnoff Vodka®, Bailey's Irish Cream ®, Richot®, Bond 7 Whiskey® and Gilbeys Gin®.
**About the Role:**
The Integrated Business Planning Manager role is a key market role and the face of Planning and Logistics within the respective market. The position holder maintains a management and leadership role to ensure the Integrated Business Planning is managed and delivered in line with the Diageo requirements The role interacts with senior leaders within the market and supports the leadership team by ensuring timely decision making in response to changing business plans.
Within the market the role holder is responsible to ensure sufficiency in the top and bottom line where gaps between the latest estimate are clear. This will come through in a holistic understanding of the E2E business process and early identification of risk and opportunities that will enable Diageo to **come up with the right gap closing options, decision making and action plans,** in addition to driving value through effective partnership with commercial, marketing and the GM to ensure robust execution of the business plan and joint value creation through the IBP process.
In addition, they are also accountable to coordinate and facilitate the monthly IBP process with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning and Logistics, to deliver the service, inventory, forecast accuracy/bias volume plan, NSV, innovation and cost savings.
+ They will lead all the meetings within the IBP Cycle and Weekly S&OE meeting.
+ They will be ensuring the IBP process continues to deliver to the Progressive standard. Influences the executive agenda through effective reconciliation.
+ They will ensure the continuous change management and elimination of parallel processes that hinder the efficiency of the IBP Meetings and Decisions.
**Interfaces:**
This role operates within a very complex and evolving network with the following dimensions:
+ Monthly cross functional collaboration with interdisciplinary departments and country Exec including Marketing Director, Finance Director, Commercial Director, Supply Chain Director and Managing Director.
+ All SC&P interfaces (function, category)
+ Global IBP Process Owners
+ Digital tools such as APO/OMP, Anaplan
**Top Accountabilities:**
+ Accountable for ensuring the IBP process continues to deliver to the Progressive standard through the PMR, DMR, SR and MBR.
+ Influences the executive agenda through effective reconciliation.
+ Facilitates IR Review with Finance, including driving the agenda, focus and level of escalation.
+ Manages the monthly reconciliation cycle and is tasking the development and alignment of key decisions and gap closing scenarios.
+ Coordinates the delivery of the overall business plan to deliver its objectives by combining the IBP plan with business activity and key drivers. Influences decision focus and executive alignment.
+ Supports business performance management through exception-based root cause and escalation.
+ Delivers key IBP performance metrics to the standard required.
+ Full integration with finance to deliver a single business plan, with clearly identified gaps and actions.
+ Works with Demand and Finance to facilitate decision and actions in response to changes in business assumptions and plans.
+ Ensures the effective coordination if the monthly S&OE cycle and related meetings, including process implementation and management coordination.
+ Is seen by the business as an extension of the executive team with clear influence and access.
+ Supports the category process with pro-active integration as needed.
+ Drives process and tool enhancement, and advanced design foundations. Uses business tools and process, with resistance to informal workarounds.
+ Drives continuous improvement using established process methodologies, including formal assessments, the Diageo Playbook, and formal meeting review, as well as their role as a business leader and influencer.
+ Prepare value adding visual information and recommendations to support business planning and decision making. This includes conforming to Diageo standards for reporting and presentation, and the ability to clearly show an audience what is important when presenting information. Includes the ability to add clear and relevant narration to visual presentations and the use of appropriate visual techniques (such as graphs and images) to maintain interest and focus.
+ Develop or support the development of information management processes (such as Business Intelligence reporting or dashboards) to ensure they deliver business value and focus.
+ Influence business executives to make changes to their plans by providing insight and support as needed based on information developed through the IBP process.
+ Articulates insights and outcomes in a way that can lead to an agreed executive decision / outcome.
+ Support business executives in delivering their business objectives through the preparation of plans and scenarios as needed, the reporting of key information and exceptions, and the completion of analysis and review of past performance and future.
+ Takes ownership and accountability for the business planning / budgeting cycle on behalf of the Market executive team and coordinates the activity to deliver a formal business plan / budget.
+ manage the delivery of strategic plans to support business objectives in response to changing market and business requirements where accountable. This includes delivering to agreed plans and managing change and risk.
+ Understand the key components of financial reports, including related metrics in a way that allows the appropriate review of financial numbers to identify areas of concern that might require review and explanation, and to bridge key gaps between planned and current performance.
+ Prepares and presents decision recommendations into appropriate IBP reviews, clearly articulating options, and impact in terms of volume, value, and resource requirements, and have developed a trusted position within the team to ensure appropriate support.
**Experience required/Skills/Capabilities**
**Previous Successful Experience:**
+ Having directly worked with senior business leadership.
+ Has practical experience of Demand Analytics, to analyse demand performance and trends, marketing, and sales activity impact (including pricing), and reach conclusions on what that might meant about current and future demand plans.
+ Has practical experience of IBP in a similar role and / or business, which can be used to support the current role and challenge.
+ Can manage an appropriate change management process to ensure market adoption of IBP, using Diageo principles, processes, and resources, as well as their own skills, capabilities, and position.
+ Minimum 5 years' experience working in IBP/S&OP
+ First hand planning experience in IBP, S&OP, S&OE, Demand Planning.
+ Has developed and successfully implemented strategies and S&OP programs.

As part of the Africa team, and with business partnering accountability for supported markets, this role will work on reward programs and projects that cut across multiple business units and countries. The role takes a lead in building an appreciation and understanding of the Diageo Reward proposition for HR, People Manager and employees. **About the role:**
The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective implementation of the Company's reward & recognition programs. The role does this by partnering with stakeholders across the business, key amongst them being HR Directors, HR Business Partners, Talent Engagement and People Managers to deliver elements of our Total Reward agenda. Alongside leading on priorities for Diageo in supported markets, the role holder will also be involved in broader Africa and Global reward projects and activities with focus on East Africa.

**Market Complexity**
EABL operates in the East African context with different employment, taxation and retirement laws and regulations in each of the countries.

This role reports into and is part of the Global Market Rewards team and will work with other teams within the Global Reward function such as Executive Reward, Global Mobility, Global Shares and Global Pensions.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ To develop an annual reward communication and engagement plan in order to build reward capability that drives employee engagement and performance.
+ Deliver expert support, guidance and recommendations across Total Reward areas-Including but not limited to benchmarking, salary management, job evaluation, merit budget planning, sales compensation, total reward communication, employee benefit management and annual reward cycle.
+ Provide analytical insight with commercial focus to drive ongoing and new compensation and benefits programs. Participates in the design and development of new programs, policies, and principles in line with the global reward priorities.
+ Provide benchmarking and analytical insights critical to support the markets with the Union CBA Negotiations.
+ To act as the key point of contact of our insured benefits 3rd party providers, ensuring effective delivery of services as per Service Level Agreements and in line with the global reward standards.

+ To be the custodian for all local reward policies, contracts & documentation.

+ To provide inputs to the finance teams for people cost planning in line with the business planning cycle. In addition to this is to develop and implement the annual EABL local reward budget.
**Qualifications required:**
+ A university under-graduate degree in business or social sciences.
+ A post graduate HR diploma or relevant HR professional qualification is an added advantage.
+ A professional accounting or finance qualification is an added advantage.
**Skills required:**
+ Excellent analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work with complex data, draw insights and recommendations from it.
+ Ability to bring these insights and recommendations to life for a broad range of stakeholders in an engaging and easy to understand manner.

Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) is a fully integrated beverage business in Diageo Africa (supply and demand for beer and spirits).
SBL flagship brand is Serengeti Premium Lager. Other brands in the portfolio include Serengeti Lite, Guinness, Pilsner and SIB. **Scope of the role**
Primary accountability is to deliver business year NSV and Volume outlined by Line Manager. (NSV 2.5-3 BLN TZS).

**Purpose of Role**
The Sales Executive will manage an assigned geographical area which may include towns/villages and several distributor territories in terms of achieving the primary and secondary sales targets/ distribution and other Key Performance Indicators. Lead and empower Area Distributors, VSM's and their staff in their assigned area to achieve the planned volume, market share, NSV and NR targets
**Leadership Responsibilities and Decision Making Rights**
Work with the commercial teams to ensure their dedication and engagement in the plans, in order to deliver flawless execution. Close working relationship with SBL marketing, supply and finance.
**Top 3-5 Accountabilities**
**Mentor & Accompaniment of VSM's** - SE are responsible for mentoring as part of Diageo's toolkit.
**Area Distributor Primary and Secondary Sales Performance Management** SE is responsible for Secondary sales management through stockiest and retail. They will be working with Distributor manager to drive primary sales plan that was agreed with Distributor. Responsible for management and execution in Top 10-15 outlets including stockiest. They order and passes them to VSM or distributor and ensures delivery. Adhere to own journey plan of stockiest, top outlets.
From time to time SE will be representing Distribution Manager to connect with Distributor. On secondary sales, SE have two fronts; presenting with Distributor on secondary sales initiatives, training and driving of VSMs on sales Force effectiveness targets. Secondary sales initiatives includes but not limited to agreeing secondary sales initiatives with Customer Marketing and managing those secondary sales initiatives. Some of the secondary sales initiatives include 3-wheeler project, stockiest incentive etc.
**New Distribution point Appointment** - Identification of potential areas for new distributors and stockiest. This is to facilitate effective and efficient stock movement to achieve primary and secondary sales target for their area. It also includes understanding and owning KYC process for recruitment of new business partners.
**Account Development:** they will be responsible for joint activities that are done between Top outlets and SBL to increase sale and market share. These may include;
+ Outlet execution for certain sales drivers to pull consumer towards certain brands/category i.e., Outlet visibility, price initiatives, consumer offers/promotions etc.
+ Innovation drive to push for innovation brand
+ Price compliance and availability
+ POS and visibility; cooler execution
+ Listing of new sku's and new brands
+ Drive sales and advise distributor of empties, OOS etc.
+ Collect competitive intelligence
+ Execute nationally coordinated activations in outlet
**Distributor Health and Profitability** - They are responsible for growing their distributor by being a logistic provider to a strategic partner with SBL. Measures shall be distributor operation are improving in quality in terms of ordering, receiving and distribution of stock, efficient in secondary distribution in terms of trucks, routes and staff capability, and automation of distributor operations. He will be working with Distributor Manager to make sure the distributor remain profitable throughout. He will also make sure SBL operates in an efficient way with distributor on making sure our investments with distributor have a healthy return on investment. They will be responsible on highlighting red flags whenever distributor operations and performance are jeopardizing SBL objectives.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction as Lifting Foreman

· Broad and extensive knowledge in lifting equipment and steel structural design
· In-depth understanding of mechanical lifting discipline
· Experience of follow-up method statements, lifting operations plans and risk assessments
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
· Ability to pay attention to detail especially to equipment with home-made and tailor-made modifications.

On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Senior Project Engineer-MTT.
MISSIONS / JOB DIMENSIONS
The service holder shall lead, facilitate, and interface with the Contractor and various EACOP teams, as required, for plant buildings construction supervision to buildings commissioning and handover.
The Delivery Package Manager is responsible for the overall delivery and coordination of a specific construction package, managing HSE performance, schedule, Construction performance.
The role requires hands-on leadership in remote field locations, with strong technical and managerial capabilities to drive the Contractor and Subcontractors toward safe and efficient execution. The incumbent will interface across disciplines to ensure timely and compliant delivery of piping, structural steel, and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) works.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
EACOP project includes a 1,445km 24” oil export pipeline, 8 above ground facilities, a green filed marine terminal with an export jetty and a serie of 60 main line block valves and +20 trace heating stations. 150km of feeder lines from Upstream facilities will tie-in to the EACOP project. The project contracting strategy entails 8 main packages to be executed through 15 different main Contracts. An EPcmC Contractor is in charge of Detailed Engineering (except for most of the buildings)and Procurement. EACOP direct personnel, including partners secondees will be more that 600 at peak periods during the execution phase of the project and up to 8,000 to 10,000 personnel, when including Contractors, expected to be mobilized across the various sites for construction activities. The pipeline project will be the largest privately led with Government participation transnational infrastructure project ever undertaken in the East African region.
The context is complex with numerous stakeholders, environmental and societal / local content stakes, three partners, two involved countries new to oil development (Uganda and Tanzania), and the need for project development in accordance with IFC standards to secure the necessary financing.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACTIVITIES
· Enforcing safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
· Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned construction package, ensuring compliance with project objectives, standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Oversee daily construction activities and interface with the Construction Management Team, Engineering, and Quality teams.
· Coordinate and manage the activities of Chinese EPC Contractors, ensuring adherence to scope, specifications, and timelines.
· Developing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
· Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
· Maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders, including contractors, owners, and other team members.
· Monitor contractor performance, ensuring workforce planning, productivity, and logistics are effectively managed in a remote and logistically challenging environment.
· Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures and quality standards.
· Drive the implementation of weekly and monthly planning with a strong focus on achieving key milestones.
· Proactively identify and resolve technical and execution issues related to piping, structural steel, and E&I works.
· Lead interface management across disciplines and packages (civil, mechanical, electrical).
· Ensure all works are documented and tracked in accordance with project controls and reporting systems.
· Support in contract administration tasks, including change management, variation review, and claims support as needed.
· Liaise with logistics, procurement, and camp services to ensure efficient execution in remote site conditions.
· Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position.
· Project or Package Engineers oversee all hands-on aspects and the tangible outcome of a construction project. They guide site workers and solve on-site problems and document and record project progress.
RequirementsMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline or in a recognized Engineering/building discipline,Mastery of project specified building codes (notably BS and EN), standards and oil & gas industry practices,In depth knowledge of Building systems, finishes and materials and performance in the region. Deep understanding and mastery of technical trades, including complex instrumented systems (like security systems, fire detection and protection, HVAC networks),Proven track record in managing large EPC scopes involving Chinese contractors is a strong requirement.Technical expertise in piping, structural steel, and electrical & instrumentation construction.Experience in oil & gas projects, preferably in pipeline, terminal, or process plant construction.Proven records of 20+ years’ design and construction experiences. 15 years of experiences with Plant/Technical Buildings design/construction,Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment,Good interpersonal and communication skills,Can deal with pressing deadlines,Previous experience with Chinese contractor is considered an asset.Willingness to be based in a remote area on a rotation or full-time basis.ADDED ADVANTAGE:
