Job Purpose As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, optimizing processes, and supporting business growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to achieve organizational goals.  Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.  Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management.Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations.  Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and financial stability.  Optimize cash management strategies, including investment decisions and financing activitiesIdentify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.  Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard company assets.Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.  Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiativesLead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance departmentRequirements Knowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is required. A Master's degree will be an added advantage  5 years of progressive experience in financial management  Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.  Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.  Experienced in accounting software’s, QuickBooks, tally.  Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.  Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.  Excellent leadership and team management skills.  Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.  Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.  Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

Responsibilities Partner Engagement ● Responsible for new member recruitment and stewardship through the full “life cycle” of a member. ● Lead annual member renewal processes, including the designing of incentives for growth in the association membership. ● Liaise with the Executive Committee and lead engagement stakeholder management including attending meetings with partners. Partners may include government entities, regulators, investors, donors, etc ● Work with the Executive Committee to create an annual calendar of partner engagement opportunities and develop content. Develop ongoing, strong relationships with partners to support their connection to company programs and community. ● Oversee and organize events that include, but are not limited to, member socials, the annual meeting, and monthly prospect events. Fund Development ● Ownership and development of company’s strategies for Fund Development. ● Implement high‐level cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and recognition strategies intended to strengthen relationships with current funding partners in order to increase revenue. ● As the primary for fund development, work towards creating; o A culture of philanthropy amongst the partners and members. o Strong corporate partnerships with local, national, and international companies. o A strong program of foundation giving including multi‐year giving by institutional funders. o A strong system to leverage the networks of company’s Board of Directors. Administrative Oversight ● Supervise and manage key development and communications positions. ● Participate in program budgeting, and financial management. ● Primary role responsible for the accuracy and utilization of the available tools for member and partner management, renewal/donation tracking, etc. ● Reporting obligation for donor funds. ● Interaction with company’s Board of Directors to ensure they are all kept abreast of developments. General ● Other duties as assigned and necessary per business need. ● Continuous learning and growth in the field of expertise.Requirements Knowledge and Experience ● A Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of experience in partner engagement. Experience in fundraising will be an added advantage. ● Experience working and interacting directly with civic leaders, and high net worth donors. ● Non‐profit experience including an understanding of non‐profit infrastructure, organizational development ‐ including but not limited to governance, fund development, financial management, and program evaluation. ● Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, including facilitation and contact management. ● Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills. An outgoing personality is necessary to be successful in this role. ● Comfortable with MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with learning new software.
