Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as a Country Business Development Manager (CBDM) for IT Software Solutions in Tanzania or the allocated country. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about expanding market share and establishing strong connections with clients.

Overview: As a CBDM, you'll be responsible for overseeing business development processes to promote company growth. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and maintaining client relationships.

Ideal Candidate: We're looking for a self-motivated individual who can:

Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets.Develop business strategies and marketing plans.Manage client databases and relationships.Innovate and oversee the sales process.Collaborate with senior team members to manage company risks.Prepare and deliver compelling presentations.Develop customized proposals for clients.Own the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field with a Marketing option.Certified Business Development Professional credentials preferred.At least 5 years of experience in business, sales, or marketing.Experience in ICT Technologies sales, e.g., IT Software solutions.Extensive network in enterprise and corporate accounts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Role Purpose : To acquire new customers in Enterprise on behalf of company primarily within a target base of national in-country customers operating both nationally (in-country), regionally (Pan-Africa) and globally. Responsibilities 1. Identify and pursue sales opportunities and leads which may come from meetings, clients, other sales channels, vendors, and others. 2. Where relevant support the allocated global / regional account manager with their global acquisition strategy and leverage global deals to win locally, including sign off a local account plan aligned to the global account plan. 3. Ensures all contracted revenue streams from won opportunities are being accounted for in all allocated accounts. 4. Maintains allocated pipeline product and country mix to reflect the strategic aims of the business aligned to specified objectives. 5. Delivers an agreed minimum incremental total contract value (TCV) of business per annum 6. Maintain company sales system with all required data on timely basis. Requirements Knowledge and Experience Experience in enterprise business is strongly preferred • University degree with at least 3+ years’ successful experience working in solution sales in a technology company. • Understanding of key financial metrics such as ROI and capability to use these as key selling tools. • Experience in identifying up-selling opportunities which increase product penetration within the customerUnderstanding of and an ability to manage the opportunity lifecycle from discovery to generation of proposal and subsequent closure and implementation. • Ability to introduce new innovative concepts to key decision makers within the customer through relationship and stakeholder management of the CxO level within the customer organization. • High level of competence with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word. • Ability to understand and effectively use internal process management tools. • Awareness of the telecoms and the ICT industry and the impact it is having on the customer organization • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-demanding environment. • Excellent command on both oral and written English and Kiswahili languages
