Job Title: Country Sales ManagerLocation: TanzaniaReports To: Regional/Managing DirectorIndustry: HVACJob Summary The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving sales operations across the entire country, managing a team of 15–50 staff, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently achieved. The role requires a seasoned leader with at least 5 years of managerial experience, exceptional strategic thinking, strong leadership, and analytical skills to maximize revenue growth, enhance customer relationships, and ensure optimal team performance.Key Responsibilities Drive National Sales Lead sales efforts across all regions of the country to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand business reach.Sales Strategy Development & ExecutionDesign, implement, and oversee effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.Continuously evaluate and adjust sales plans based on market performance and trends.Team Management Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team of 15–50 members to deliver high performance.Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and oversee training and development.Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.Resolve escalated client issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.Marketing & Market Analysis Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.Performance Monitoring & ReportingTrack sales performance against targets, preparing detailed monthly and quarterly reports.Use data-driven insights to improve sales processes and outcomes.Leadership & Analytical Skills Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, effective problem-solving, and adaptability in a dynamic market.Lead by example, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative work culture.RequirementsQualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial sales role managing 15–50 staff.Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel across the country as required.Note: Tanzania nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
